Angels and Demons

When world-renowned Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is summoned to a Swiss research facility to analyze a mysterious symbol — seared into the chest of a murdered physicist — he discovers evidence of the unimaginable: the resurgence of an ancient secret brotherhood known as the Illuminati… the most powerful underground organization ever to walk the earth. The Illuminati has surfaced from the shadows to carry out the final phase of its legendary vendetta against its most hated enemy… the Catholic Church.

that was grabbed off the internet. below are my favorite bits 🙂

….. Santi was behemoth in the art world, and being known solely by one’s first name was a level of fame only achieved by an elite few… people like Napoleon, Galileo, and Jesus… and of course, the demigods Langdon now heard blaring Harvard dormitories- Sting, Madonna, Jewel, and the artist formerly know as Prince, who had changed his name to the symbol Prince logo.svg, causing Langdon to dub him “The Tao Cross With Intersecting Hermaphroditic Ankh.”

that probably wasnt funny for you, but the first time i read that, i LOLed so hard…..

i have one moar fact filled excerpt from Angels and Demons that i really enjoyed and will share with you guys maybe tomorrow 🙂 aikido awaits O_o

About emmatbunnie

Hello, nonexistent readers. I type up whatever dark thoughts run through my cavernous mind. You have entered my cave of thoughts and regrets and everything in between. I post when my "friends" push me to. Don't expect too much, please. Hey! My name is Emma (duh). I have an adorabs little rabbit who I am overly fond of and I am sickeningly in love with "honeybunches," although that has GOT to change soon. I love crafts, such as sewing and polymer clay!
